taaxi.ma is a Moroccan mobility platform built around a simple truth: drivers and passengers need each other, but they can’t always find each other efficiently. We solve this with live intelligence — not matchmaking.
There is no in-app pairing. Drivers flag passengers down physically, just like always. We just make sure the driver knows exactly where to be.
Stop cruising blind. See the live heatmap, pick your zone, and head straight to where passengers are waving.
Raise your hand digitally so nearby drivers know you’re waiting. Get wait times and fare estimates instantly.
Two apps built for the realities of Moroccan street taxi culture. No app pairing, no surge pricing, no complicated flows.
Download the taaxi.ma Passenger app and sign in with Google or Apple in seconds. No phone registration required.
Tap the big “Virtual Hand” button. Your demand signal is broadcast to nearby drivers on their live heatmap. Get a walk guide to the nearest main road if needed.
See your wait time estimate and fare range. The meter in the taxi is always the final price. Cancel anytime if your plans change.
Sign in with Google or Apple. Upload your Permis de Confiance, Permis de Conduire, and Carte de conducteur Professionnel for KYC. Approved within 2 business days.
The live heatmap shows 4 demand levels: High · Medium · Low · None. Filter by direction using Quick-Zone neighborhood buttons — no typing while driving.
Head to the red zones, pick up passengers physically, and save fuel by never cruising blind.
Every feature is designed for the realities of Moroccan taxi culture.
Updated every ~6 seconds so you know exactly where riders are waiting — fast decisions, no guessing.
We never take a cut of your rides. Just one simple monthly subscription; everything the rider pays on the meter stays with you.
Big, clear buttons. Open the app, flip your status, and you’re working — no clutter, no learning curve.
A licensed platform that works with official petit and grand taxis. KYC verification means every driver on the app is certified and authorized.
Thousands of riders use taaxi.ma every day to find a taxi. The bigger the community, the more demand near you.
The live heatmap shows you where real demand is before you move — head straight for riders instead of circling the street.
Your request reaches every nearby driver instantly on the live heatmap, cutting wait times significantly.
The official meter is always the price — no surge pricing, no surprises. Just a small fixed booking fee when you need one.
One big button to request a taxi. No complicated sign-up, no extra steps — anyone can use it.
We only connect you with officially licensed taxis (petit and grand). No unlicensed cars, no risk.
You pay the driver directly, cash on the meter. No middleman inflating the price.
Your location is only shared with the driver during the ride, and never stored afterward.
Everything you need to know about taaxi.ma.
The heatmap is a real-time color-coded map visible to drivers. It shows where passengers are currently signaling demand: Red = high, Orange = medium, Yellow = low, Grey = none. The map updates every ~6 seconds via a live GPS connection, so drivers always see current conditions — not 10-minute-old data.
The Virtual Hand is the passenger’s main feature — a single large button in the passenger app. When you tap it, your location (as a coarse ~50m cell, never exact) is added to the heatmap that all nearby drivers can see. You also get an estimated wait time and fare range while you wait.
Drivers need to upload 3 documents: a valid Permis de Confiance (Trust License), a Permis de Conduire (driving license), and a Carte de conducteur Professionnel (professional driver card). You can photograph them directly with your phone camera inside the app. Verification usually takes within 2 business days. If rejected, the specific reason is shown so you can fix and resubmit.
Yes. For passengers, demand is stored as a cell count + time window — never a personal route. For drivers, live GPS position is pseudonymous (UUID-keyed) and stored only in Redis with a TTL — close the app and your dot disappears within seconds. No passenger personal data is ever shared with drivers.
Yes — the taaxi.ma Passenger app is completely free to download and use. You pay the taxi driver directly in cash via the meter (compteur), as always. taaxi.ma never charges passengers any fee or commission.
